Accessibility statement
Information about accessibility, known limitations and how to report barriers.
Last changed: 20 September 2026
If the versions differ, the German version prevails. The English translation is provided for guidance.
Aim
The application aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. A full conformance assessment has not yet been completed.
What already holds
The following features support accessibility:
- Semantic HTML for navigation, headings, forms and lists.
- Keyboard-operable controls with visible focus indicators.
- Action menus supporting arrow keys and Escape.
- Visible labels for form fields.
- Status and error messages marked for assistive technology.
- Text descriptions of states alongside colour.
- Alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are ignored by screen readers.
- Language identification for the German and English interfaces.
What was measured
The revised interface is checked with automated tests and browser reviews. These checks do not replace a full assessment with assistive technologies.
- Text readability on dark backgrounds and visible focus indicators.
- Responsive layouts on narrow and wide screens.
- Wrapping of long German text in narrow layouts.
- Browser errors and missing translations in both languages.
- Page titles, heading structure and form labels.
What is still open
The following assessments remain outstanding:
- Complete screen-reader journeys, particularly registration, verification, booking and payment.
- An in-depth review of calendar views with assistive technologies.
Movement on the page
The interface uses animated transitions, click feedback and smooth scrolling. These animations remain active when reduced motion is enabled in the operating system.

Legal basis
This statement follows section 14 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act. Whether the duties of that act apply to the operation of this application depends on the size of the operator: micro-enterprises with fewer than ten employees and at most two million euros in annual turnover are exempt for services. This statement is therefore given even where there is no duty to give it.
If a report goes without a satisfactory answer, the market surveillance body of the federal states for the accessibility of products and services can be brought in.
